More Activity Types
eClass is equipped with additional activity types to assist in the facilitation of instruction:
- Attendance: enables an instructor to take attendance during class and students to view their own attendance record.
- Chat: Allows participants to have a real-time synchronous discussion
- Checklist: Create a checklist / to-do list / task list for your students to work through.
- Choice: An instructor asks a question and specifies a choice of multiple responses
- Database: Create a collaborative collection of links, books, book reviews, journal references, etc. Display student-created materials for peer comment and review
- Glossary: Enables participants to create and maintain a list of definitions, like a dictionary
- Group Choice: Allows students to enroll themselves in a group within a course. The instructor can select which groups students can choose from and the maximum number of students allowed in each group.
- Journal: Enables instructors to obtain students feedback about a specific topic; students can reflect on course topics; instructor can provide prompts for journal entries.
- Lesson: Enables instructors to deliver content and/or practice activities in interesting, flexible, and interactive ways, for self-directed learning of a new topic.
- Questionnaire: For gathering data from students to help teachers learn about their class and reflect on their own teaching
- Wiki: A collection of web pages that anyone can add to or edit. A wiki can be collaborative, with everyone being able to edit it, or individual, where everyone has their own wiki which only they can edit.
