Audio, Video and Screen Recording Tools in eClass
The enhanced text editor (TinyMCE) in eClass now includes built-in features to record audio, video and screen without the need for extra tools.
Recorded Feedback for Students
Recorded audio and video feedback can boost student understanding, motivation, and engagement. It offers personalized, detailed, and contextualized input that is often easier to process than text. This approach saves instructors time while enabling richer communication through tone or visual demonstration. As a result, students can self-assess and improve their skills more effectively.
Recorded Assignment Submissions
In activities like assignments, forums, quizzes, and more, students can submit audio, video or screen recordings (when enabled by the instructor). This allows students to record themselves or their screen instead of typing out there response to a prompt, or assignment. Audio, video, and screen recording are great for “show, don’t tell” assignments like software demos, lab procedures, digital art showcases, coding walkthroughs, video essays, and virtual tours.
